As part of The Groundwater Project a new book has been published : “Karst:
Environment and Management of Aquifers”, authored by Zoran Stevanović, John Gunn, Nico Goldscheider and Nataša Ravbar. The book is available
as a free download.

|
NCKRI participated in 3 in person events during Cave Week, Cave night on June 4th, STEM night
on June 6th, Cavernfest on June 8th and hosted the book reading of Caves on June 5th.
|
NCKRI's Education Program Manager, Devra Willingham presented "Lessons and Successes at the 2023 National Speleological Society’s Annual Convention Gear Cleaning and Decontamination Station" at the White-nosed
Syndrome Symposium on June 12, 2024.

The National Cave and Karst Institute is a research center of New Mexico Tech. NCKRI was created in partnership with the National Park Service, State of New Mexico, and the City of Carlsbad to be a nexus of research, stewardship, information
and outreach for caves and karst while fostering interdisciplinary collaborations. Our mission is to promote and facilitate cave and karst research, education and sustainability.
