Re: Крубера-Воронья, новые данные по глубине

Всем добрый день.

Поздравляю исследователей пещера Крубера-Воронья с отлично спланированной и проведённой экспедицией и с новыми открытиями в ней.

На Север Арабики, озеро Дзоу, доходили известия о работах на Орто-Балагане.
Мы (команда Перовскоого клуба) немного волновались (особенно во время долгих дождей) за наших коллег и желали им спокойной и результативной работы.

По возвращении из экспедиции я решил уточнить глубину пещеры Крубера-Воронья по опубликованным в Интернете данным.

Русскоязычные источники давали -1830 м в предыдующей (июльской) экспедиции

 Поступила свежая информация из Орто-Балагана от А.Б.Климчука.
 Закончилась камеральная обработка данных топосьемки в пещере Крубера-Воронья. Результаты будут еще перепроверяться после возвращения экспедиции, но есть уже более точные данные по глубине пещеры (все еще предварительные и не окончательные). К сожалению (а может быть и нет) глубина пещеры уменьшилась и равняется 1870-ти метрам.
  
 Еще раз Всех поздравляю с таким великолепным спелеологическим достижением, и с новой (старой) глубочайшей пещерой мира.

Среди зарубежных сообщений выделяются два, данные в национальные спелеорассылки.
В них приводится критическая оценка и анализ предыдующих измерений глубины пещеры.

Хотелось бы услышать комментарии наших исследователей к этим сообщениям и уточнённые данные по глубине пещеры.

Привожу их в порядке поступления.

Bernard Tourte французский участник последней экспедиции сообщает о её результатах - "направлено из базового лагеря экспедиции".

AVIS D'INFORMATION

Ce jour 28 aout 2004, l'expedition officielle organisee par l'Association ukrainienne de speleologie dans le gouffre de Varonya (valon d'Ortobalagan dans le Caucase Occidental), avec pour invites divers speleologues d'origines anglaise, espagnole et francaise et avec le patronage de National Geographique Etats-Unis touche a sa fin.

Suite aux differentes informations qui ont pu circuler depuis fin juillet sur la cotation du fond de ce gouffre, divers travaux topographiques et de decouvertes ont ete realises. Ainsi le siphon decouvert et cote a -1.830 m. par une equipe de Moscou denommee Cavex fin juillet 2004, a integralement ete topographie au cours de cette toute derniere expedition.

La cotation d'entree de ce siphon est dorenavant ramenee a -1.770 m. La difference de cotation est impartie au fait que cette equipe russe a raboute son exploration de juillet 2004 a un croquis d'exploration etabli de aout 2003 et non, a une topographie reelle au-dela de la cote de -1.544 m.

Ainsi le terminus de la pointe 2003 annoncee a - 1.680 m., se voit aujourd'hui ramene a la profondeur de -1.629 m, soit une difference de 51 m.

Par ailleurs, dans les travaux effectues ces jours derniers, un plongeur ukrainien a passe le siphon terminal de cette branche, ajoutant ainsi 17 m. de developpe pour une profondeur de -10 m. (ce siphon se poursuit etroit et sans visibilite).

Enfin un nouveau reseau a ete decouvert, explore et topographie depuis la cote de -1.637 m, par l'equipe de pointe constituee de 4 ukrainiens, 1 espagnol et 1 francais, qui ont passe ces 15 derniers jours sous terre en dessous la cote -1.200 m

Cette nouvelle branche semi-active mene dorenavant Varonia a la cote de -1.823 m (soit le record du monde de profondeur). Avec un arret sur siphon.

Les perspectives de ce nouveau reseau restent cependant encore nombreuses, Varonia reservera encore, sans nul doute, de multiples nouvelles surprises a l'avenir.

По приведённым им уточнённым данным глубина пещеры Крубера-Воронья составляет -1.823 m.
Приводится анализ имевших место ( или возможных?) погрешностей в предыдующих измерениях глубины отдельных участков пещеры.

Аналогичные данные приводит участник июльской экспедиции австралийский спелеолог
Alan Warild, достигший (в двойке с Д.Проваловым) конечный сифон и участвовавший в топосъёмке нижней части пещеры.

Another entry in the saga:

" Press release from the Arabika 2004 caving Expedition"
(28-8-2004) NEW WORLD DEPTH RECORD

The Arabika 2004 expedition to the Arabika Massif, Western Caucasus,
Republic of Abkhazia is drawing to a close. The expedition was organised
by the Ukranian Speleological Association under the direction of
Alexander Klimchuk and Nikolai Solovei with the participation of cavers
from Britain, France, Spain, Ukrania and the patronage of the NATIONAL
GEOGRAPHIC of the USA.

The principal objective of the expedition was the exploration of caves
in the Orto-Balagan valley centred on Krubera-Voronia Cave.

With regard to the information that has been circulating since july
reagrding the new depth of this cave, the following must be clarified:
The new post siphon branch found in 2003 was explored and mapped from
the -1440 m sump (S1) to a new sump situated at -1770 m (S2). Last July
an expedition composed of Moscow cavers without the permission of the
Ukranian Speleological Association erroneously claimed a depth of 1830 m
(S2). This depth was estimated by altimeter and based on a sketch drawn
in 2003 that gave the limit of exploration as -1680 m; the survey data
has revealed a 51 m error in this section so that the real depth reached
last year was -1629 m, and the total error in the estimate published in
July is 60 m.

This expedition dived S2 where the Ukranian diver G. Samokin reached a
depth of 10 m and distance of 17 m to establish a depth of this branch
at -1780 m. In the same post-siphon branch beside the bivouac at -1737 m
a new, independant passage gave acces to a large fossil collector. At
3:00 am on the 25-8-2004 the push group composed of:

Yu. Timosheuskaja - (Ucrania)
B. Tourte - (Francia)
S. Garcia Dils - (Espana)

established a new world record with a depth of -1823 m at a sump at the
end of the passage. This new passage throws up more questions and
promising leads for future explorations.

The expedition would like to thank the patronage of Federacion Espanola
de Espeleologia and the colaboration of all of our friends who in one
way or another were involved in the expedition.

can't say I quite agree with all that's there... :-)

По уточнённым последней экспедицией данным достигнутый в июле конечный сифон находится на глубине -1770 м с учётом его глубины (10 м) глубина этой ветви пещеры составляет 1780 м.

В новом найденном продолжении была достигнута глубина -1823 метра. Остановка перед сифоном.
