Это подозрение подтвердилось.
Используется бензин, видимо с добавлением масла.
Just regular gasoline then mixed with 2 cycle oil.

Полученные пояснения по названиям горюче-смазочных материалов в разных странах выглядят достаточно юмористично и замысловато.

'Gas' means 'gasoline' here in the US, like what you put into a normal car.

But:
'Gas' in English can also mean 'natural gas'.
'Gasoline' in US English is 'Petrol' in British English.
'Petrole' in French is 'Kerosine' in US English.
'Kerosine' in US English is 'Paraffin' in British English.
'Paraffin' in US English is a type of wax.

К этому остаётся добавить

'Gas' in Russian is 'natural gas'.
'Paraffin' in Russian is a type of wax.
'Benzin' in Russian is 'Gasoline' ('Gas') in US English or 'Petrol' in British English.
'Kerosine' in Russian is 'Kerosine' in US English or 'Paraffin' in British English.

Как я понял, головка Ryobi делается по тому же стандарту, что и "бошевская", поэтому могут использоваться и свёрла Bosch и Dewalt.

SDS---SDS bits have the grooves on their shaft that fit and lock in the drill head. This provides an added impact force that when combined with the rotary action makes for a much quicker removal of rock than say a standard rotary hammer drill.
 
The head, however is made by Ryobi. It uses the same standard readily available SDS bits that a Bosch SDS or Dewalt SDS drill would use.
We specifically use the 2 foot 1/2" diameter bits for setting the holes for muzzminers, which we get from McMaster Carr at http://www.mcmaster.com
This particular part of the drill i.e. the head is something that if it were to break could be somewhat of a problem to fix, however I think there may still be some service centers with parts available. On the plus side is the fact that the drill is extremely rugged.
