The "UIS commission on artificial cavities" has a web site running with all
kind of information
concerning aritificial cavities at URL:
http://ww.xs4all.nl/~jorbons/home.html. Those with
access to WWW can receive these pages. New things are added constantly. One
of my latest
additions is a link between a database running in my computer and the
Internet. The link means
that I update the datebase in my computer and very regularly I transfer the
data to the Internet. I
am testing it out at the lexicon, and if it is working fine, I can add other
databases.
Please have a look at the Lexicon at
http://www.xs4all.nl/~jorbons/lexicon.html. Any comment
is welcome. Those withhout acces to WWW can send me a mail and I will send
the files
through E-Mail to you.
When this lexicon connection is working fine. I want to do the same with my
database on
underground musea and other places to visit underground. Anyone with a
contribution please,
mail me.
The same goes for publications, conferences etc.

New publication: GRSMA no 19. This trimestriel bulletin of the "Groupe de
Recherches
souterraines en milieu artificiel (GHRSMA)" (Belgium) contains three
articles. The first on an
ancient metaliferous mine in Chaudfontaine. The second one is on quarries in
Hesbaye. The last
article is on quarries in Geromont. All articles by M. Caubergs with plans
and photographs.
