Добрый день.

21-25 июля 2003 года В Великобритании проводится третья международная
практическая конференция спелеоспасработ.

Поскольку ссылку на Web - сайт с полной информацией организаторы не дают,
привожу оба информационных письма.

В целом мероприятие мыслится как встреча спасателей - практиков.
 Им предлагается приезжать со своими новинками спасательного снаряжения и
втечении недели обмениваться опытом на поверхности и под землёй.

Перед и после конференции планируется организация спортивных спелеолагерей в
основных спелео районах Великобритании.

    OBJECTS:
    To bring together cave rescue teams and individuals interested in all
aspects of cave rescue for a
    one week practical symposium.

    AIMS:
    To promote the exchange of techniques and equipment between cave
rescuers from many different caving areas
    and to build upon the valuable experiences of RESCON92 and The First
European Cave Rescue Congress, Germany 1999.

    VENUE:
    RESCON03 will be held at the South Wales Caving Club, Penwyllt,
Abercave, Swansea, South Wales, U.K.

    GENERAL NOTES:
    Delegates will be expected to partake in underground workshops and be
encouraged to demonstrate their own techniques and equipment.
    Some techniques and equipment will be more easily demonstrated on the
surface and full facilities will be provided.
    Costs will be kept to a minimum and grant aid will be sought from
national bodies.
    Pre and Post congress sport caving camps will be organised in all major
UK caving areas so delegates can combine a caving holiday
    with RESCON03.

International Cave Rescue Conference
July 21-25 2003. South Wales Caving Club.

Aims of RESCON03.

       To promote the exchange of cave rescue skills between delegates.
       To provide an environment where these skills are demonstrated
underground.
       To provide facilities onsite for electronic or hardcopy duplication.
       To produce a Proceedings of the conference.
       To enjoy.


To make the journey to RESCON03 more attractive pre and post conference
caving camps
will be arranged in the main caving areas.

COST.
Payment must be in Sterling, Eu or US $.

Conference fee should be paid in advance.

Conference fee 25 (36 Eu)

Cost of accommodation:

Caving hut and camping onsite at SWCC. 3.00 (4.50 Eu) per person per day
Camping at tourist campsite. 4.00 (6.50 u) per person per day
Caravan with electric hook up. 11.00 (17.0 u) per day
Bed and breakfast. 25-45 (39-68 Eu) per person per day

Cost of Food.

All meals, 5 days. 45.0 (72 Eu) per person.
Lunch, Evening meal only 30.0 (48 Eu) per person.

The conference site will offer all facilities and gives easy access to one
of the longest caves
in the UK, Ogof Ffynnon Ddu.
Demonstrations will take place underground and cave rescue teams are invited
to bring
equipment to demonstrate.
Carbide is not permitted in the caves of South Wales and electric caving
lights will be
provided.

Program.

Saturday 19, Sunday 20 July Delegates arrive. Free accommodation/camping
at SWCC,
Penwyllt.

Monday 21 July 1730 Official Opening of RESCON03 and welcoming of
delegates at Dan
yr Ogof.

21-25 July

Breakfast 0730-0830

Cave Rescue practical sessions 0930-1300 1400-1630 ( 1730 Monday only
Official
opening)

Lunch 1300-1400

Evening sessions for lecture/slide shows 1700-2000

Evening Meal 2000-2100

On-site Bar Trade Stands.

Sport caving sessions can be arranged from 1700.

There will be facilities for film and video projection, electronic and
photocopying on-site.

The underground sessions will depend upon what other teams want to
demonstrate.

Subjects:

Stretcher Hauling, Casualty packaging, Cave Diving, Communications, Rescue
Control,
First Aid,
Rescue Training, Ropes, Very Tight passages, Very Big Passages, River
Passages.
The WBCRT will be demonstrating 4 way underground comms with the HEYPHONE
For demonstrations which are not practical underground we have a dis-used
quarry on-site.
