This is a brief update on the status of THE SIXTH MULTIDISCIPLINARY
CONFERENCE ON SINKHOLES AND THE ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF
KARST, which is being held April 6-9, 1997, in Springfield, Missouri, USA.

Please note that the ABSTRACT DEADLINE has been extended until September 30,
1996. This change is necessary because of postal problems beyond our
control which have delayed the mailing of the conference brochure and call
for papers.

Please contact us at if you

1) did not receive the original message regarding this conference (and wish to);
2) wish to be removed from our e-mail list;
3) received duplicate copies of this message at one or more e-mail addresses
(and wish not to in the future); and/or
4) have any questions or comments about the conference.
