Dear Friend or Colleague,

To stop the ever-increasing flow of junk emails and spam to your email
account, please join the International Users' Action, an informal, free and
voluntary action group.

Day in and day out you are confronted with stupid schemes of how to get rich
overnight, dubious offers and gifts that are usually not available in your
country, and pornographic material causing considerable embarrassment in the
family or business. And all that at your time and at your expense.

The objective of International Users' Action is to send sufficient number of
email requests to the Email Service Providers from which the spam originate,
in order to force them cleaning up their operations and eventually the
Internet Industry.

Large number of incoming emails is bound to attract the Email Service
Providers' attention, because it has the potential to choke their system to
halt.

Our strength is in our number.

The International Users' Action involves forwarding the junk mail to the
Email Service Provider with the text, which follows below, inserted at the
top of Message area above the text of forwarded spam.

How to find the email address of Email Service Provider?

1. Right click on the spam message in OutlookExpress.
2. Select Properties
3. Select Details tab.
4. Select Message Source...
5. Make the page Full Screen for easy viewing by clicking the rectangle in
the top right corner (between the _ and X).
6. Locate From or Return-Path. They show the sender's email address, for
example: .
7. Open Internet Explorer, type in http://www. and add to it what is after
the @ symbol in the email address followed by Slash and Enter. It will
bring the website of the Email Service provider.
8. Under CONTACTS or similar you find an email address, probably
, or .
9. Copy the email address into the To line of email heading, and press Send.
10. You may also add the whole Property page to the bottom of forwarded
spam. Use Select All of Edit, then Copy, and Paste under the spam letter.

Please forward this message to friends and associates at home and abroad, in
order to make it a worldwide action.

Thank you.

The TEXT to insert above the forwarded spam:

Dear Webmaster,

This email, forwarded to you below, and many other unwanted emails arrive to
my email account from your email service.

Apart from being uninvited and costing me money, the offending emails often
do not offer an effective facility to unsubscribe, to stop further flow. In
great many instances the use of "unsubscribe" achieves the opposite, because
it serves only to assure the spammer that a real person exists at the email
address, causing him/her to unleash a greater number of spam on the
believing recipient.

Following the end of offending SPAM MESSAGE below, I have copied the
Properties of same offending message for your perusal.

I request that you please stop the flow of unwanted junk emails from your
email service to my accounts.

The international community of Internet Users is fed up with being inundated
by junk emails consuming their time and resources, and is also fed up with
the inability and/or incompetence of the Internet Industry to deal
efficiently with the problem.

The Industry components claim they do what they can, but it is seemingly not
enough. Experience has shown that the Internet Industry is reluctant to deal
with the issue efficiently because of the effort involved, and because in
great many instances the Industry takes immoral profits from such unwelcome
and unauthorised intrusions.

The Industry, in particular the advertising agencies live in the delusion,
whereas an email address has a commercial value. The opposite is true.
Internet Users delete the spam without reading, and draw anger and
inspiration from the spam to ignore any form of advertisement that appears
on their monitors.

In the face of gross default by the Industry, the Users' concerted action is
needed to force cleaning up the Internet Industry.

The Users have the number to do that.

If you do not make effective action to stop sourcing spam from your email
service, I shall lobby the Internet Users Community of the world to forward
all junk emails they receive from your accounts back to your and your
organization's other administrative email accounts.

I shall also suggest the Internet Users to place on the Internet a database
containing the administrative email addresses of offending Email Service
Providers, who source spam, to assist Users in emailing their requests to
the administrators.

Sincerely,
