Hi All!

Один мой знакомый спелик из Германии хочет поехать на Пинегу в августе этого
лета. Если кто нибудь может что нибудь посоветовать насчет того как лучше до
туда добраться из Архангельска и куда лучше пойти (ему не нужны сейчас
пещеры, он просто хочет погулять) было бы очень здорово! Писать можно как
мне так и ему. Вот его письмо:

связаться?

I think I should get really serious about planning a trip. And I have
made several ideas the last days.
So my main idea is that I would like to see some of the Pinega
gipsium karst, 100km south of Archangelsk. It is not necessarly a
cave trip. Katharina and I want to have a stay and hiking in a
interesting northern area with (hopefully) no people around. ANd I
just would be interested to see how the area is like.
One good thing is that it is possible to get flights from Berlin to
Archangelsk (via Moscow or St. Peterburg).
Do you have information on this area or (reliable) cavers from there?
We want mainly know of it is possible to easily get there by bus
from Archangelsk and if it is possible to hike around and stay in
tent during the night (there are bears living I heard). We plan to be
there no longer than 8 days (I have used most of my vacation yet)
in the end of August.
Maybe you know sth. about it. Ahh. ANd maybe we need visa
assistance; I mean someone to give a valid invitation letter: is Yuri
still in "Speleo-tourism" business? He should have experience with
that.
